For the last 8 years, a little boy named Ian has been fighting an aggressive form of bone cancer.

Cancer has already taken so much from him. Ian has lost one of his legs. His body has endured years of pain, treatments, fear, and uncertainty. But what makes his story even more heartbreaking is that ever since Ian was diagnosed, his family lost everything.

For the last 7 years, Ian and his dad have been homeless — sleeping in their car, trying to survive while fighting for Ian’s life.
No child battling cancer should have to sleep in a car.
No father should have to choose between food, shelter, transportation, and life-saving medical care for his son.

Today, Ian’s situation has become extremely urgent. His cancer is spreading fast, and he now needs emergency surgeries on his lungs and left leg to try to save his life — and potentially save his remaining leg.
Without this surgery, Ian may lose his other leg. Even more devastating, his life could be at risk.

The first priority of this fundraiser is to help pay for Ian’s emergency medical care and surgeries. These procedures could give him a fighting chance to survive, protect his leg, and continue battling this disease.
But we also want to help Ian beyond the operating room.

After years of sleeping in a car, Ian deserves something every child should have: a real home, a safe place to heal, and a real bed to sleep in.
If enough support is raised, donations will help provide Ian and his dad with:

Emergency surgeries and medical care
A safe home and stable place to live
A real bed for Ian to sleep in
Food and basic necessities
Reliable transportation for hospital visits
Long-term support as Ian continues his fight

Donations are made to Miracles for Daily Faith Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and support the Foundation’s charitable mission and programs serving children battling cancer and their families.

This campaign highlights [Ian], and the Foundation intends to provide charitable assistance to the family based on documented need and Foundation policies, which may include medical care, medications, housing, transportation, essential living expenses, and other approved needs.

Donations are made to the Foundation and not directly to the featured family. The Foundation retains discretion, consistent with its charitable mission and policies, regarding the amount, timing, and form of assistance provided.

A portion of donations may also support the work required to make these life-changing efforts possible, including identifying and vetting families in need, communicating with families and medical providers, traveling to meet and support families, documenting and sharing their stories, administering grants and assistance, and operating the programs that allow us to reach children battling cancer around the world.

These costs may include program personnel and staffing, family outreach and case management, storytelling and content production, travel, fundraising, marketing, legal and compliance costs, administrative expenses, and other reasonable operational costs.

These resources are essential to our ability to find families who may otherwise go unseen, personally understand their needs, bring their stories to a wider community, raise awareness and support, and ultimately provide meaningful assistance that can change their lives.

Campaign funds may also help support other children and families battling cancer through the Foundation’s ongoing charitable programs, including immediate relief grants and other forms of assistance.

If the featured family’s needs are fully met, change, or cannot be funded as originally anticipated, remaining funds may be used for other Foundation programs and charitable purposes consistent with Miracles for Humanity Foundation’s mission.
